Friday Alstroemeria
Aurelia is particularly fond of these tiger-striped Alstroemeria flowers.
The Jelutong wood she is carved from originates in southeast Asia where Tigers come from (though the Alstroemeria flowers are native to Peru)! Aurelia was carved in Oregon by me in September 2016, except for her smile which was carved by T C Vollum (lucky girl!)
A Friday bouquet at our house.

Alstroemeria flowers are some of my favorites. They last a long time as cut flowers inside. They have a delicateness
quality that is sweet. Aurelia has that, too. Celia
I like Alstroemerias too- Aurelia really likes them a lot…now she is begging me for a cat sweater like the block twins have to match those pretty stripes.
Did she get her proper snow pants and coat, yet?
no, not yet, but the snow has melted away again… we’ll have to get in it though in case we get another snow-dump!
Aurelia’s countenance seems to fit these flowers…a very lovely choice for this Friday’s bouquet. I look forward to this particular day’s entry each week. Thank you once again!
I thought she was the perfect Hitty to frolic among these lovely flowers and she agreed with no hesitation at all.
Aurelia and the flowers are lovely.
Thank you very much!
Such warm vivid colors for a winter’s day. And the addition of Aurelia simply enhances the pleasure!
Yes it was very chilly outside the Hittys cupboard today, the flowers really warmed us up, just by looking at them!
Aurelia is so lovely, and the flowers are beautiful! One thing that is a touch odd is that pixels are moving across the screen on your blog…. I’m not quite sure if it’s supposed to be snow, or if there’s a technical glitch?
Thank you Tottie, Aurelia is a little shy, but is getting to be a favourite around here. The snow is on purpose – it is a wordpress setting, but not visible on all devices. ⛄️
Aurelia is a darling, and I am glad that my computer is not being daft! Snow can do odd things to electronics, and sometimes people, too LOL
