Southward bound
A group of girls got up before the crack of dawn, and sat in the ferry lineup.
.
.
The sun came up just as we were leaving Victoria…
.
.
…and Gráinne and Constance joined me in a restorative cup of tea…
.
.
…but Amelia and Tephra had to have a nap, not being used to getting up at four in the morning!
.
.
We stopped for lunch at Ruby Beach…
.
.
…and sat in a Sea Stack for a while!
.
.

oh, wonderful. Another Hitty adventure, Ruby beach looks beautiful.
Ruby beach was really pretty -a good place to stop and stretch my legs!
Happy journeying…and enjoyable naps under a certain quilt!
That certain quilt is a favourite – they always travel with it in their traveling basket!
From land locked Missouri it is always such a delight to see how you begin your journeys via the water ways!! Looking forward to your adventure.
We live on an island so almost anywhere involves a boat ride!
Enjoy your trip
Thanks!
Loved the photo of the girls looking out from their basket to the water…really could see how interested they were at all the sights. The arch formation of rock was beautiful. I see Gráinne was happy to come along too. Wonderful photos and story. Have fun on this new excursion.
They love their traveling basket, it keeps them safe, and I can bring quite a few of them along with me!
