November Yarn
Rose acquired a ball of yarn (25 cents at the charity shop!)…

…she got out her needles…

…and with a bit of help…
.
.
…she knitted up a new shawl…

Tuesday says thank you!!!

Tuesday’s shawl is from Softsweater’s Lonely Tree Shawl pattern on Ravelry.
Adapted for Hitty by: using lace weight yarn; size 2 mm needles; Knitting up to row 17 only; finishing with three rows plain knitting; and cast off using a picot stitch, casting on two and casting off four.

It’s beautiful! I am sure that the knitter who donated the yarn to the charity shop would be thrilled to see Tuesday gracing her lovely new shawl!
I hope so! We have plans for the rest of it too!
The color of the yarn is “OH So Soft”. Tuesday must love her new shawl.
I am enchanted by little felt critters. The more of them I see the more enchanted I am.
The yarn reminds me of the pink Silk Halo yarn I got in Sutton Quebec! I like the critters too – the little cat is fun to have around, and always seems to show up when there are balls of yarn around!
Rose is probably the most talented Hitty that I know! Tuesday looks quite fetching in her new shawl. So nice of the kitten to help with the project. Warm and cuddly photos!
We are grateful to Rose for keeping on knitting and stitching, all year round, but especially in the winter! Tuesday is glad to have a cosy shawl that matches her new socks quite well!
Such a beautiful shawl to complement a lovely yarn. Thank you for sharing the pattern you used too!
You are welcome! This was the first knitted lace pattern I tried, and I taught it to Rose…she has made several since!
