Flowers in Provence
This Provencal garden is filled with beautiful flowers…
.
.
.
…including a pretty cactus…
.
.
…red, variegated and pink geraniums…
.
.
…and an impressive Yucca.
.
.
The town square at the top of the hill has several Linden trees, buzzing and humming with bees visiting every blossom…
.
.
…and below in the valley, the fields are awash with poppies!
.
.
Jasmine vines twine around the fences, and up the walls in the village…
.
.
…and Constance picked a tussie-mussie of Jasmine flowers to bring into the house.

as always fascinated. Thank youi Love, nia
You are welcome, Nia…it was nice to see all the flowers, we were lucky to come before the hot dry period!
I can’t help but think that at least this spot in Provence is a bit heavenly. Thanks for sharing such beauty.
It was quite heavenly – especially the wafting perfume of Jasmine in the evenings!
Thanks for the picture of the linden blossoms. I know the tree, but I’ve never seen it in bloom.
Have you ever drunk Linden flower tea? It is quite delicious and flowery.
How refreshing! Your Hitty looks charming in her Provencal clothing. Thank you for this post. I was able to take a momentary visit through these photos.
Hitty Constance thanks you demurely “merci beaucoup madame” and is glad you were able to visit!
Beautiful flowers and a beautiful ensemble on Hitty. Love the little vase with her bouquet.l
We found the tiny vase in a junk store in Aix…we like the colour and the design with that pretty swirl of light blue glass.
