…Raven is already good friends with Tansy, but she seemed a little disbelieving at first, to hear that Butternut Girl was now her very own doll.

She took the wooden girls on a tour around Tanu…

Raven
…and they all enjoyed the deep soft moss…

House
…tucked into soft places, they sat and absorbed the feelings in the old village…

Joy
… and they loved going with Raven right into the old houses.

Grandma
For a while they all listened carefully while Mary explained the history of this special place to the visitors…

…but then Raven asked permission to run off back to the cabin to play…

Moss
…so Tansy finished the tour with Mary, so that her Butternut friend could have time to be accepted by her new little girl.

A happy beginning for the Butternut girl’s new life! How promising that she should meet her new caretaker in such a meaningful site. Now her Raven will be taking her to her nest…thank goodness for that beautiful comfy moss!!! 😍Happy adventures Butternut girl! May you be loved and bring joy for many, many moons!

… and Butternut girl can learn to become a watchman, along with Raven, in that magnificent land.
Indeed, I hope she will accompany Raven on what ever of life’s adventures come her way, and where ever they may take her!
This is such a special post. Seeing Raven holding Butternut girl gets me all choked up…knowing that “Favorite photographer” and you and Tansy made this happen for that little girl. Hitty’s are universal in their appeal and far reaching positive effects on the humans who care for them and love them.
It seemed so right – her interactions with Tansy last year persuaded me, Favourite Photographer made the connection, and my teachers gave me the skills. Little Butternut was created with love, and has landed in a place where she will continue to be loved – I feel sure!
OH my goodness!! What a wonderful post and what a generous wonderful thing to send Butternut Girl to Raven….I can only imagine her surprise..the look on her face as she studies Butternut girl in her case. WOW!! Butternut Girl was destined for Raven, and our cup of happiness is absolutely brimming over to know that this little girl is going to find a special place in her heart for a Hitty doll…we hope they have many adventures together!
