Wet Walk
Arianell went on a rather wet walk with me…
.
.
…there are a few of last year’s berries left, luckily for the birds…
.
.
…but new flowers are already blooming, like the fragrant wet Witch Hazel…
.
.
…the delicately damp Hellebore…
.
.
…and the sweetly dripping snowdrops!
.
.
.
.
Arianell is adorable in her wonderful blue dress and cozy sweater…complete with hood. This walk looks welcoming even though it’s a damp day. Our Hittys find that the dampness brings out the best of colors in nature. Refreshes them.
The grey damp did make the colours so noticeable and pretty…Arianell was very glad of the hood, and we were both glad to get into the dry when we did get home!
What a beautiful walk!
It was beautiful, and we really enjoyed it!
It always amazes me how floral your winter walks can be. Thanks for the magical walk, Arianell.
We are very lucky to have very few days of snow per year – the snowdrops, Hellebores and witch hazels are some of the earliest flowers! We sometimes see plum blossoms as early as this if the weather is warm enough.
a wet and lovely walk! Arianelle looks well dressed for the elements.
It was exactly that – wet and lovely!
