Six Rocking Chairs
Our favourite photographer found three more Albert Nadeau rocking chairs at a consignment shop – they are hand made in Quebec, and exactly the right size for Hitty!

.
Mormor is always ready to tell a story – just pull up a chair!
.
.
But…so many chairs to choose from!
.
.
Mormor told the girls about the Wonderful Adventures of Nils…who was shrunk down to the size of a Hitty, and had many adventures while traveling with a flock of geese…
.
.
Mormor is a good storyteller!

Wow! Wonderful chairs and wonderful stories!
The rocking chairs are wonderful, we are amazed that they seem to turn up here in Victoria!
What a great find. I can only imagine how thrilled “favorite photographer” was when he spied these rocking chairs. Yes! the hittys must adore Mormor and her stories. I know I adore all of them too. That last photo was great!
The Favourite Photographer was definitely pleased with himself (and us with him!) when he carried the new chairs into the Hitty cupboard in triumph! We’ve always loved the story of Nils…and are glad Mormor is passing it and other stories along to the little ones!
Guttersnipe has stolen the day in my opinion. What a great illustration for Mormor’s enchanting story in those lovely rockers.
Guttersnipe had the best time today…does that mean she has the best imagination, I wonder?!
The favorite photographer is a genius! What a treasure trove of rockers. amazing really!! And the sight of Guttersnipe winging away ala Nils is delightful!! Thank you once again for making me smile.
It is a treasure trove! We never imagined we would end up with six of them!!! The Quimper Hittys are very pleased too! Guttersnipe doesn’t think that magically shrunken human boys should have all the fun!
The new/old chairs are beautiful and very inviting! How lovely that they have been used for a story telling circle with Mormor!
The Hittys enjoyed their story very much (though the cats kept far away for some reason!)
The chairs are gorgeous! Mormor isn’t the only good story teller.
Thanks so much, Dawn – we are still marveling that these wonderful chairs have come our way!
