Many Pennies
Little Penny’s relatives needed attention…
.
.
…so I applied some wood-filler…
.
.
…trimmed and sanded the crowns of their heads, and splashed on a little paint.
.
.
Finally I gave them little faces….now we have a handful of Little Pennies, but not everyone is happy about it!
.
.
There was an old woman…
.
.
…who lived in a shoe.
.
.
She had so many children…
.
.
…she didn’t know what to do!
.
.
.
Now that’s what I call “Pennies from Heaven”
They were miraculously altered – I like the Manypennies much better now!
🙂 Makes me smile. 🙂
I am glad! More smiles are needed!
Just delightful! A wonderful beginning to my day.
Thanks very much – I am glad their cheering influence extended all the way to you!
Despite the sour look on the old woman’s face, she is surrounded by a happy abundance of smiles and as you stated, “fun”. Also, what doll wouldn’t love living in that fancy red shoe?
Isn’t that a wonderful shoe? It is a Lancashire clog, one of a pair I bought when I lived in England…If I was small and had to live in a shoe, I’d definitely pick that one!
Does the Old Woman need a little touch up to her lipstick to shift her grimace into a smile now that she has so many charming children living with her? And, perhaps the other shoe could join the first to make her home space a little more roomy? I love what you have done with her children!
She is missing an arm too actually, but this was my grandmother’s doll – she made the clothes too, so only in my imagination will I ever “fix” her up!
that is just perfect! I laughed when confronted with your cranky old woman and her wayyyy too many children!! Very funny and the little pennies are adorable!
I thought she was perfect for the rôle – her expression is priceless…I can see her going to get her broom to sweep the little varmints out! The Pennies are a cute little bunch – I think they’ll be amusing us for a while!
Super fun indeed! Your little Pennies are so good. You have been busy.
