River of Rain
It’s raining again…
.
.
…we are experiencing another Atmospheric River, with the month’s usual rainfall predicted to be coming over the next couple of days…
.
.
…it certainly is wet, and may cause flooding issues, though not here thankfully…and as a friend said, at least we aren’t having to water our gardens at the moment.
.
.
Here too. I’m a bit depressed, but probably won’t attempt a fence walk…
I find that following Hittys when they go on fence walks can be quite cheering! XO
Glad you’ll not get flooding…it’s starting to become too dry here…garden watering is happening.
Too dry is not fun either! I find looking at a beautiful garden such a balm, and luckily I know and don’t mind the effort required to keep it looking nice. We are very lucky to live in a temperate coastal climate where extremes are unusual!
Yes, too much or too little of anything isn’t good. I notice that our flowers prefer rain to our tap water. Your garden looks lovely.
Thank you so much, I am just loving the garden at the moment, and there is no shortage of rainwater here – we are so lucky!
raining here also…hot and wet! Everything is just lush….Jungle Summer so far! Always delight in sseeing your girls in their raincoats!
Around here they are calling this month June-uary…rain and chilly temperatures, sigh. But we are grateful for the water. Tansy likes that raincoat because it is the same colour as her favourite photographer’s raingear! 🙂
I don’t think there’s any such thing as ‘normal weather’ any more. Our winter is being phenomenally warm and has been rather wet. I shudder to think what it’s doing to the insect population, which would normally be kept under control by the cooler weather…
Hopefully your hens can help with that at least in your garden…
They’re doing a good job already!
