Crow at the Beach
Rain! At last – after over three and a half months without, the rain and cool temperatures are very welcome!
.
.
Tipsy put on her raincoat…
.
.
…and dashed down to the beach!
.
.
At the other end of the beach she spotted a crow.
.
.
They met in the middle…
.
.
…and chatted about the weather…
.
.
…and gazed out to sea.
.
.
They decided to be friends…
.
.
…and hopped along back to the Hitty cupboard together!
.
.
The human stitched up the crow using an Ann Woods pattern. Click here to see her delightful website and blog!

Well done in every aspect-the making of the enchanting crow, the friendship that has come about and RAIN!!!!!!
Thanks – the crow was a fun project. I only stitched a little at a time, over three weeks or so. We are very happy at the return to seasonal temperatures, and the rain, although only 3 mm so far, we are hoping for a slight increase!!
Lucky girl! Crows make such good friends!
They are very smart, and very interactive. Our local wild crows are quite interesting to watch!
Hurrah for rain and crows and friendship!
Indeed yes – to all three!
oh the crow is marvelous, I’ve use other Ann Wood patterns but never tried any of the birds. It looks so real, love the feet and legs. I’m sure Crow and Tipsy will become good friends.
We loved working on the project, and love the result too! This crow has quite a bit of panache, I think it will hang around for a while!
They look very comfortable together 😊 Crow is very handsome, I love the blue lights in his feathers!
Thanks! The blue photographs well, but with the unassisted eye it is sometimes black and occasionally gives off a flash of blue, being shot silk in black and blue!
so beautiful dear Hitty Lady, loved so much. Thank you, Love, nia
Thank you so much Nia. Our crows are all black, we don’t have the grey and black ones of your country.
How charming…love the blue highlights in Mr. Crow. So sweet that he made a friend of Tipsy! I am sure they will have many adventures.
What a fabulous crowd. Thank you
