Grey days outside
It has been dull, grey and cold in the Quimper Hitty environs…
.
.
…none of the cats are impressed with the current weather.
.
.
But look – what is this? Large balls of Shetland wool…
.
.
…which lead to…
.
.
…an enticing-looking cave…
.
.
…just the right size for some little cats…
.
.
…apparently it is time for the human to take a break from knitting!
.
.
Siyah prefers making herself a nest in the linen closet.

Your kitties are wonderful! I love your natural light photography, too! Makes for great story telling.:)♥♥
Thanks very much – sometimes we are lucky with the light!
Despite the fact of dreary weather, it never ceases to amaze me at what the residents on Quimper Street can bring forth into a charming tale. This one was colorful and as always and mentioned above, full of wonderful photos. Thank you.
Warm cosy socks, or caves, or nests in the linen closet…some times we just need to find our own ways to diminish the dreariness!
Good job it was the little Hitty-cats rather than the big Kitty-cat who was tempted by the Shetland cave, or I suspect there would have been Words…
Words are just a temporary dissuasion if there is string around! Cats can’t seem to help themselves – they just want to join in the fun when a human is playing with it…or else lie on it, or in it!
So, while the Hitty ladies are busy elsewhere, we are treated to the cats’ eye view of life! This is such a fun post.
Apart from Siyah, do the kitties have names? They are very cute and, well, catlike as they find a snuggle spot.
One of the Hitty cats – the one that was adopted by our young human – has a name…the others are variously kitty-kitty, kitty-puss, or kitty-cat…they all come running when Jane rattles the treat tin!
What a sweet posting…Siya looks very very comfy in the warm linen closet.. Those little cats are a pure delight. Especially love the picture of them staring out at the rainy day.
The linen closet shares a wall with the oven – I suspect Siyah especially likes snuggling in there when we are baking!
Oh My Dear Hitty Lady, how I missed to be here… maybe the place that I missed the most in this blogging world. This photograph Siyah and with little amazing. Amazing. While I was making boxes for moving, I saw the package that would be send to you… I can’t believe still in my desk… I hope this year I can send it otherwise I should fly there… 🙂 It would be so nice. Thank you dear, you know how much I love your miniature world but more than this the stories, the human’s life background of them… Thank you, Love and Hugs, nia
Thank you so much, Nia – I missed you too! I am so glad you have found a peaceful place, and can come back on line. Some day, we will find a way Nia!
