Rainy May
A rainy day in the garden…
.
.
…but Floradora didn’t mind getting a bit wet…
.
.
…because everything looked so beautiful!
.
.
We love the garden in May…
.
.
…and though everything was wet, from the smallest lily…
.
.
…to the biggest one…
.
.
…it was a perfect day for an indoor tea party!
.
.

Wet or dry, your garden walks and then tea are always so welcome to be invited to (via the e-waves). Thank you for the refreshment!
We are always glad of your company!
Oh my goodness! How incredibly lovely! Thank you for the glimpse of your flowers! 🙂
You are very welcome, we are so happy you could visit and enjoy our garden with us for a while!
So pretty! Your girls are my favorites! Such sweet expressions and those littles are just the cutest things ever!♥♥♥
Thank you very much – the dolls and I spend a lot of time together, and love to share the fun!
I am a big fan of your garden in May and your girls!! I also love that teapot cozy.
We love the garden in May – rain or shine! A Hitty friend crocheted the tea cosy for us – isn’t it marvellous?!
I have Lily of the Valley in a small vase next to me, Floradora. The scent is intoxicating. Enjoy your tea!!
It is such a sweetness, isn’t it a lovely time of year when the lilies are out!
But so short lived!
I love the rain. I live in western Oregon, where we get our fair share of rain. The sound of the rain falling in the night makes me feel cozy and comforted. It was raining during the night and this morning, but now the forecast isn’t calling for more rain in the near future. ;-(
So, to see your girls in the wet garden really made my day.
What size needles do you use to knit the tea cozy and the sweaters? Or do you use sewing needles?
Thank you so much for sharing. I am house bound and your blog is very welcomed and interesting. I love to see what your girls are up to – their !adventures are always entertaining!
It was a very damp day! I use various sizes of needles depending on the yarn, tending to the small size. The sweaters were made with size 2.5 mm. I didn’t make the tea cosy – it was crocheted by a friend, but isn’t it the sweetest thing!?.
Oh my goodness these images made me smile! It looked like they should head inside in a while and have a pot of tea and then they did!
On dry days we sometimes bring our tea out to the garden and traipse around, but on soggy days we do a quick survey and then dash inside for the tea!!
Tea in the garden sounds wonderful!
