Prickly
Coriander is helping with a sewing project…
.
.
…with our favourite little pin cushion…
.
.
…but we are short some pins…
.
.
…because our wee hedgepig wandered off.
.
.
It met some urchin friends…
.
.
…and they all ambled away to do whatever it is that they do in hedges…
.
.
…and Coriander dug out our second-favourite Hungarian Slipper pincushion, and we continued sewing.
Thanks very much to the youngest member of the human family and her parent for knitting me those beautiful wee Hedgehogs – I love them!

oh, my lovely miniature world, how beautiful you are and how busy as always. I loved what you are doing, beautiful skirt… Thank you dear Hitty Lady, Love, nia
You are very welcome, nia, keeping busy is good for my heart and hands! My little wooden friends are good company!
Yes, more loveliness and more adventures (this time for the hedgehogs!). Sweet narrative.
Yes – I don’t know what the hedgehogs will get up to – maybe they are going to visit Mrs Tiggywinkle!
love the gathering of hedgehogs, very nice knitting.
A group of Hedgehogs is called a “prickle” in English, so we are having very prickly times in this household…and the little knitted ones were so unexpected and adorable! I am very impressed with young human’s ability and thoughtfulness (and her parent’s coaching and encouragement)!
Such cuteness! I have some of that dotty fabric, so I’m looking forward to seeing what you make from it!
The sewing is a project for a Hitty friend…and I have been so amused by the hedgehog influx! Cute is right!
Oh! so enchanting!!!!
The little hedgehogs are so amusing, it is delightful to have them around, though we would sort of like to have our pincushion back!
Adorable
Never a dull moment in the Hitty cupboard!
Adorable! And that Hungarian Slipper! Too sweet!
One of my tutors gave the slipper to me in 1986! The Hedgehog is most often used, but the wee slipper is a favourite too!
I love the Prickle of hedgehogs….what darling little creatures. Coriander is looking lovely and such a great help with your sewing.
The Hittys are good company and help when they can! I always appreciate it!
The hedgehogs! Quite adorable and creative 🙂
We love hedgehogs, and were so excited to be given the cute knitted ones from the youngest member of the human family, made by her own self! She also wrote out the pattern for me in case I wanted to make more of them! Soon we may need to employ a hedge-swineherd!
