Autumn
You can tell it is fall because everyone is wearing their wooly cardigans…

…and looking at the fall blooming flowers in our garden – Cyclamen…

…Purple asters…

.
…Autumn Crocus…
.
.
…and Schizostylus Lilies.

Hummingbirds are fattening up for winter, and the apples are getting ripe…
.
.
…and all the leaves are blowing off the trees!
Happy first day of Autumn to all my friends in the northern hemisphere, and happy spring to my friends south of the equator!

Autumn is a visually and sensory time of beauty and coziness. Your flowers are so beautiful!
We love the beautiful subsiding of the garden in fall.
ahhh the colors of fall….wonderful scenes of the little wooden girls in the garden. Glorious flowers! thank you
It has been lovely with the cooling days, longer nights and the sense that things are quietening down.
It is certainly autumnal here! It happened almost overnight and I am hunting for my warmer clothes too!
It feels like overnight here too, although I was away for such a long time I shouldn’t really feel surprised! I like autumn with warmer woolies and soups for lunch!
I like summer and I like winter. Spring is hopeful so quite nice but Autumn this year feels a bit neither one thing nor the other! I will regret saying that when it is cold and wet outside in a few weeks time!
Gorgeous cardigans! The Hittys dress better than I do. Perhaps I should consult with them on a makeover – ha! Lovely photos as always 🙂
I almost always have a bit of yarn leftover after knitting a pair of socks – either baby socks or a Hitty cardigan is a good way to use it up! One of these days I might try making some blanket squares – that would be a change!
