O radiant dawn, O radiant dawn, O radiant dawn
Splendour of eternal light
Sun of justice, Sun of justice, Sun of justice
Come, come, come, come, come, come
Shine on those who dwell in darkness
And the shadow of death
Isaiah had prophesied
The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light
Upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom
A light has shone
O radiant dawn, O radiant dawn, O radiant dawn
Splendour of eternal light
Sun of justice, Sun of justice, Sun of justice
Come, come, come, come, come, come
Shine on those who dwell in darkness
And the shadow of death
Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen

    • I saw a pinkish tinge under the clouds, and ran out with my camera – leaving behind my porridge cooling on the table and my cup of tea! I hoped for a good photo and was lucky to get it, and felt uplifted by the radiant dawn after so long in the dark and gloom.

  1. I am definitely in an awestruck mood after hearing the singers sing this prayer and am definitely quieted by viewing your photos that accompany this prayer. With the words thundering quietly within me, the stature of your Hitty doll and it’s pose and position and that bit of light shining “out there” has really made the words “O radiant dawn” and the words that follow totally meaningful.
