Consternation in the Hitty Cupboard – Constance can’t find her potatoes – she was going to make them into Latkes. She can’t find her big spoon either, and Min can’t find her shoes.

The fourth Yule Lad to come is Þvörusleikir, also known as spoon-licker – he comes on December 15th! Maybe he is a shoe, potato and spoon-stealer too!

Quimper Hittys 
Do you suppose the girls laid a trail of crumbs from Iceland after their trip this year? I have not known the Jólasveinar to visit this part of the world before. And, if I had cold blue feet like that I would be looking to borrow shoes as well.
Min is the one that is hoping for a visit from the Jólasveinar, Constance is not sure she wants to encourage them, and Patience is definitely anxious.
Do the tricksters “borrow” things from one person and leave them with the next person??
Perhaps they do! Let me know if you suddenly get a load of potatoes in your Hitty cupboard!
oh dear I feared the worse when I saw those blue feet ever so close to the shoes…
Luckily Min has warm slippers, and Constance is going to lend her some curly-toed leather shoes for tonight…
