A visitor? By post? I wonder who, or what, it could be. Agathe’s impatience is sure to infect the other girls too. I really hope the visitor arrives soon as I fear the QHs could get quite twitchy.
Agathe doesn’t want to spread rumours, so she is just sitting out there with a smile on her face…
Oh, Agathe, I am waiting by the post box every dayfor a visitor too. Doesn’t time go slowly when you are keen to meet a friend who is taking a long trip?

Oh Poor Thing! Sundays are hardest because there’s no prospect for mail at all.
No mail at all on Sundays, which is very disappointing for Agathe, but she is persists in hanging about out at the mailbox.
Oh Agathe we are so sorry for your wait. Hope that you are able to endure the wait with those good books.
