Weaving a Forest
Constance has been encouraging me as I attempt to do some small figured supplementary weft patterns…we may have figured out this tree thing finally, though my weaving friend wove hers right side up and I did mine upside down, sigh…

They do look sort of like a row of small evergreen trees,

This is what it looked like when I was weaving them. I guess we’ll find out if they look more tree-like once they are off the warp, washed and right side up!

Always amazed at your beautiful work and your support, Constance! Human is really blessed with you! Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much! I agree – Constance is a blessing like all good friends!
I’m sure your’s and Constance’s work will be most lovely…colors are very soothing…I like it!
I like it too – the green trees are soothing!
Your trees will bloom once they are off the loom and washed 🙂 Lovely!!!
Thank you – encouragement from such a fine weaver is very heartening!
so lovely. Your colors are just perfect. I am so glad that Constance was able to keep you on task. Eager to see your beautiful trees when all finished.
I think they will be very nice, and I am glad to have had the chance to experiment with these patterns!
Constance is not only the Opera Hitty, but she is good at weaving as well. Those little trees sure look nice.
Thank you! Constance is a well-rounded Hitty, and is my companion in many ventures!
