A particular accomplishment is being celebrated today – Constance is baking a special dessert, but because it is mid-week, she is taking a few short cuts!
English Lemon Curd in pre-baked pie shells must be almost the easiest dessert ever!
Today we are celebrating the longest reigning Monarch Britain has ever had. Surpassing Queen Victoria’s previous record, as of about 17:30 BST Queen Elizabeth II will have reigned approximately 23,226 days, 16 hours and 30 minutes. Her Majesty declined to make a fuss, but Constance felt like celebrating!
