  1. I love going for a ride to the mountains after it rains. The ground has an earthy aroma and the water brings out the colors on the trees and flowers…even our boulders seem to come alive.
Your columbines attracting hummers is the cherry on the top.

  2. there is such a wonderful variety of flowers and colours, hope you show us what “Granny’s Bonnet” looks like. One of the symbolic meanings for the columbine is endurance – they can survive our changing weather.

    • Endurance is a good quality to have these days. I just love the different Columbines in our garden, wish we had one of the little scarlet and yellow autochthonous ones. I will certainly try and get a nice photo of Granny’s bonnet!

  3. beautiful flowers…Columbines grow wild down on our creek bank (on the limestone walls) the reddish ones. Arianell has the right idea to just enjoy them …a total immersion! in nature.

  4. Arianell is showing us some very beautiful flowers – Columbines – Lovely color – No wonder the hummingbirds love these flowers – Thank you Arianell !!!
