The Crowd will have to rifle through the leafy detritus in the backyard to see if any of the wood hyacinths are hiding. It’s always so unexpected to see the proof of seasons’ change! And the snowdrop look practically edible in their beauty…
I hope the leafy detritus reveals wood hyacinths! We were happy to see the snowdrops – they a little behindhand this year, and thus doubly adored by Amelia and me!
Such a lovely find for your Friday bouquet. It’s months before we see anything like that so it’s great to see it at your house and know that….It Will Happen Here Too….LATER. Have a lovely weekend!
The dreariness of winter sometimes seems endless. This is a sight for sore eyes. Thank you, Emelia.
You are welcome! It is marvelous to pick the first flowers of spring here already!

Thank you! We think a quiet weekend with a bit of sewing is in store – maybe Rose will finish the new Hitty sleeping bags!
what lovely little flowers and a lovely Hitty. Thank you for a Friday mood lifter!
Thank you – Amelia is feeling cheerful these days, and the pretty snowdrops were a definite mood-lifter!
So beautiful! Do you plant seeds or bulbs for them?
Well, I have only every found them naturalised, but they do come from bulbs! I wonder if they would survive in Edmonton?
I’ll ask at the garden centre 🙂
