Forest in November
Six Hittys went on a walk in a Comox Valley forest…
.
.
.
Some of the time they rode in the basket…
.
.
…and some of the time they walked.
.
.
They rested on a mossy forest stump nest.
.
.
Tatty and the small human helped pick some Pearly Everlastings.
.
Tatty gave some to the forest Buddha…
.
.
…and she carried the rest of them home.

This looks absolutely magical. It looks like an enchanted forest right out of a Walt Disney movie. I found myself searching for gnomes and fairies as I viewed this amazing place. I can’t imagine a more ideal setting for you and the hittys to go with “The Youngest Human”. Enjoy!!!
We are very lucky to live within driving distance to our dear small human…and also lucky that she enjoys playing Hittys! That forest is literally out her back door – we just love it!
A beautiful walk.
It was so beautiful…and colder than it looks in these pictures…the Hittys didn’t notice, but the humans were all glad of cups of warming liquids when we got home!
This is a very calming narrative. I especially like the Pearly Everlastings. I wonder where they are native.
I am not sure…but we have always loved them, the name is so evocative.
what a magical forest….love that little forest Buddha… thanks for taking us along.
The little forest Buddha is just sitting at the side of the path…he blends in so well it would be easy to miss him!
Little Pink Riding Hood is delightful! Thanks for sharing another lovely outing with her little friends.
You are welcome, we were glad to share the little adventure!
