Oh, I can just imagine the scent that fills the room. They are so delicious…. and I can’t grow them here, so it’s lovely to see them blooming beautifully far away.
I love these flowers…it is a Christmas tradition here, and they will go into the garden afterwards…I wish I could waft you a little fragrant scent.
The suspense built as the green gave way to the white of the blossoms. I am not familiar with them so it was a treat to see the pretty white blooms and then to read that they have a lovely scent (katechiconi). I’ll bet it cheers up your dreary winterish weather. Thanks, Floradora!
It is a beautiful, hopeful and prettily-scented Friday flower pot thanks to our favourite photographer for the thoughtfulness…Floradora is thinking its her new favourite flower!
Beautiful. That would certainly encourage me!
Thanks so much…we love the green and growing encouragement of these mid-winter blossoms! Floradora seems to have a real affinity to flowers!
beautiful delicate blooms and that final portrait is so lovely!
The flowers are so lovely, a few more open every day…Floradora loves spending time with her flower friends!
Every element of each photograph is so beautiful! Did you weave the overshot fabric that the lovely flowers are sitting on?
Thanks very much…I did not weave that particular overshot…I found it at a thrift shop and love it for its pattern and colour – perfect for this time of year!
that final photo of Floradora is so pensive and lovely.
Thank you…Floradora just feels happy when she is surrounded by flowers…she is a thoughtful girl.
Flowers for Christmas is always a welcomed sight.
Bringing these flowers in for Christmas is one of the prettiest traditions in our family…Floradora and the Hittys are glad to be able to participate. We love them.
