Crocus Beauties
March! It’s time for the crocus to bloom…
.
.
…Floradora visited the little patch of yellow crocus in the front garden…
.
.
…look at the delicate red stripes on this one…
.
.
…and the creamy yellow of these ones! Floradora thought these might be her favourite…
.
.
…but then she spotted this!
.
Crocus do seem to be heralds of Spring, don’t they? Floradora, you’ve shown us glorious beauty. Thank you. We’re grateful here for sunshine and diminishing snow. Color is on it’s way though!
We love these pretty harbingers of spring, both the purple and the yellow…at certain times of the day they glow! Colour on the way sounds good!
Oh how glorious!!!!! Thank you!
That purple is positively regal isn’t it!
Thank you Floradora! It will be some time before crocus come up in Colorado. Thank you for sharing yours.
We hope the crocus flowers are numerous and glorious when they do appear in Colorado!
I must say, the purple ones are my favourite too… Such a clear, beautiful shade, so vivid against the bare spring garden.
That little clump of purple intensity is quite an eye-catching spot of the garden in this season! Very brightly heartening!
Beautiful photography. Lovely flowers and of course the oh so sweet Floradora
Floradora is really enjoying the buds and blossoms of her first spring as a doll! Of course she saw many springs when she was a tree, but this is different!
