Provençal Quilt Blocks 15 and 16
With Constance and Vanilla’s help our one-block a month quilt is almost complete!
Once again we went through the Provençal fabric stash, and cut out squares and triangles…
.
.
…sorting and matching…
.
.
…pinning and stitching…
.
.
…and now we have two new squares…
.
.
…this one was for March…
.
.
…and this one for April…only two more blocks to go (and then organising the intervening blocks, the borders, the backing, batting and quilting!)

This is like a trip to the heart of Provence! Beautiful arrangement, wonderful work! Spring has sprung!
All these fabrics are so cheerful and jolly, they make us feel springy too. Ah, Provence!
Your Provençal quilt is looking spectacular. I’m sure it’s a satisfying endeavor.
Thank you very much, it is very satisfying! And to think we are nearly there!
Ooooh, I LOVE that print of olive leaves and fruit! Not so traditional, but gorgeous!
We have many olive prints – these were purchased in the 1960’s by my mother-in-law…we love them too!
such rich, woderful colors and prints. This quilt is going to be a masterpiece!!
Thanks! We love the way it is turning out. It’s going to be so warm and cheery in the winter!
All of your quilts are so beautiful. Each one unique and lovely.
Each of the eighteen blocks of this quilt is different, I am really looking forward to seeing it finally all together, sashing and backing, and binding and all!
