Little
Mudlark doesn’t mind climbing around in the nasturtiums…
.
.
…and Guttersnipe quite likes perching in the Quince tree…
.
.
…and they both enjoy climbing up the William’s Bon Chrétien Pear tree.
.
.
But sometimes they just want to relax and gaze at the flowers without a lot of climbing.
.
.
So the human put out a little tin “wicker” bench for them…
.
.
…just right for two little dolls!
.
.
The hospitality shown to and for the QH household is never ending. Thanks for another sweet and endearing narrative of life there on Q street.
The flowers trail around, the fruit increases in length and circumference – lots going on here! We love watching the slow unfolding of nature…I actually think the dolls help me to see it better!
Their friendship is so sweet.
I love it too – little Mudlark from her muddy London riverside, and Guttersnipe from her dusty shelf…I am so glad they could come together! Wouldn’t it be interesting to eavesdrop on their conversations?
Oh so charming!
The little tin settee actually might be a mite small for them, but they insist not – sometimes they just want to plop down in comfort without exerting their pegs.
I can appreciate that! 🙂
❤️
Thank you very much Bodana – there is a lot of fruit on the quince tree – perhaps we can make Slatko together this year!
‘Pearfect’ for fruit-gazing!
The little are telling me it is perfect, so I am going along with them. They tell me they would like a small cushion, please, though the felt pad is better than nothing. And “Watched Fruit” will ripen eventually!
Yes, a peaceful visit with a dear friend while gazing upon a lovely garden. Who could ask for more!
