Lavender’s Scent
Floradora and Anthea waited near the lavender bush…
.
.
…while Henrietta snipped the lavender stalks.
.
.
A helpful human…
.
.
…also snipped and snipped…
.
.
…and Anthea sniffed and sniffed!
.
.
They picked so many lavender stems…
.
.
…that they put the flowers into little sacks.
.
.
The scent of the lavender was SO heavenly that they all they all fell down onto it, and sniffed with joy.
.
.
Sniffing seems a most pleasant way to go through one’s day~especially if it’s sniffs of lavender.
There are so many ways to delight the senses, and lavender is one of them (if you like it, which we do!)
Beautiful. Lavender was my mom’s favorite.
We are fond of it here too – and fortunately, the deer are not! We have three kinds out in the front yard, but this long-stemmed variety is our favourite!
Fresh lavender…. so lovely!
The bundles of lavender drying around the house are so pretty and aromatic!
We love lavender…we have soap and oil. It’s wonderful. Happy to see the Hitty’s enjoying this lovely scent.
We love it too…the scent gives such a pretty aura to the room – the bundles are hanging out to dry and look nice too. I wonder if young human will associate Lavender with Grandma?
A-w-w She will associate you with so many wonderful scents, scenes, and comfort.
Absolutely love lavender… unfortunately I can’t put into in my cupboards as my allergies flare up 😒
That is unfortunate…it can be an irritant to sensitive noses and sinuses.
❤️
Thank you very much Bodana. The young ones bring joy into our lives don’t they?
oh my I can almost smell the lavendar frmo here. I LOVE that aroma. And I so enjoy your little wooden girls and their helper!
Oh, I remember the joy of freshly cut lavender!
