Fruit Harbingers
Vanilla visited the garden this morning, and found our sweet Apple maiden is blossoming for the first time…
.
.
…while the more established quince is quietly doing its part…
.
.
…and the raspberries are readying themselves!
.
.
Look! Gooseberry flowers galore…
.
.
…and the Black Currant bushes are laden…
.
.
…all the harbingers are hopeful that it will be a good year for fruit in Quimperland!

Beautiful photos of Vanilla in your garden!
Thank you!
Ah, and besides such beautiful photos as mentioned above, your gifted choices of words have led me to total enamourment of this bounteous narrative today.
We are so hopeful for berries and fruit from our garden this summer…Vanilla is a very hopeful Hitty. Thank you for your kind thoughts!
Oh Jame will be busy in her kitchen this season. You have a lovely garden. Vanilla has the sweetest smile.
Jane will be canning and freezing…the Hittys will certainly enjoy the fruits of her labours!
so sorry…correction…Jane

your garden is a cornucopia of delights!! We have a very old apple tree that is now in bloom…bears yellow apples,
looking forward to seeing how your sweet apple tree produces.
We hope the bees get a chance to fly about and pollinate between windstorms! There are several apple trees in the neighbourhood, but none that bear yellow fruits that I know of!
