Spots and Stripes
Holly went with her young human to have a sleepover at a friend’s house. The two nine-year-olds got together some scraps, scissors, needles and thread, and together produced this wonderful outfit for Holly!

Holly loves her striped pencil skirt, which just pulls on and stays up, but young human hoped grandma could help put fastenings on the polka-dot shirt!

Luckily there was just enough time before Sunday Dunner landed on the table…

.
…and young human stitched one button on at the top of the back opening…
.
.
…then another at the bottom of the back opening.

Grandma worked two loops to match and Holly got dressed just in time for dinner!

We took her picture after the table was cleared up again.

What great fun! Thank you so very much for sharing this.
We did have fun – I was happy to share…and so impressed with the design and sewing skills of young Human!
Delightful!
I thought so too!
This is amazing, coming a new Hitty Lady, I think. Thank you, as always I loved so much, Love, nia
The young Human was so pleased and proud of herself! It was very nice to see.
holly the fashionista! The young human has a good eye for style. Sweet…
Holly has hidden depths! Her Human takes good care of her, and plays a lot – it is sweet!
it is wonderful to know there are are still 9 yr. olds who still want to stitch – and grandmas who want to teach them. Holly looks lovely in her spots and stripes, as does the young human in her tiger top.
I was amazed and delighted…it was wonderful to see young human’s pride and delight and very endearing to see how Holly’s paint is chipping – it means she is played with!
I did notice the missing paint and thought the same thing – such wonderful memories that will be treasured.
