Floradora’s Frosty morning

Warm

Floradora is glad of her knitted dress and thick sweater…there was frost on the ground this morning! Siyah doesn’t much mind, as she still has her winter coat!

.

frosty edges

…The frost was very fleeting…

.

.

drip

…it turned into drips of dew soon enough.

.

Candy Tuft

The flowers are quite unaffected!

Tulip

Tulips! It has been a long time since we have seen a tulip in the garden. The deer have eaten the ones in the front garden all up! Last year we planted some in flower boxes, but they refused to do more than send up a couple of half-hearted shoots. This year we planted some in the back garden (behind a deer excluding fence) and look! They are nearly blooming!

narcissus

The narcissus are coming along too! They don’t mind being in a pot. but the ones in the garden are happy too. We are happy the season seems to be progressing, a little more warmth would be nice, but we do live in the most beautiful city, so we’ll just keep knitting sweaters!

  1. Bright sweaters, happy flowers, color, color, color coming along with warmth soon to follow. Yes, you do live in a beautiful place. Enjoy and thanks for sharing it all with us!

    • You are welcome! Siyah is a lovely cat – her new brother Blueberry is still a bothersome boy kitten but he will calm down soon, we hope! It is so nice to see the tulips coming!

      • So Lovely to hear a new cat… I now what means it takes time, we lived this with every new one. Thank you dear, Love, nia

    • Floradora waves hello to her block sister…and hope spring is coming to your neighbourhood too! I have a lot of leftover sock yarn – these sweaters are just right for using it up!
