I found a pattern on Ravelry and bought some yarn…

Round Yoke

The yarn is called “Hempathy” and is a mixture of Cotton, Hemp and Modal (a kind of Rayon)…so hopefully it will retain its structure, be cool and breathable and comfortable.

Floradora especially likes the colour (Ochre).

might there be leftovers?

…and hopes there will be scraps!

Click here for the pattern, but note there may be a mistake in the pattern which I have alerted the designer about, and adjusted for myself.

  1. Gorgeous colors, gorgeous yarn turned into gorgeous sweater and of course, gorgeous Floradora grace your habitation. Can’t wait to see if there are gorgeous scraps!

    • We are hopeful of scraps…I bought an entire extra ball more than the pattern called for – partly because I wanted to make sure I didn’t run our before finishing (especially because I tinkered with the pattern) but also because we we loved the yarn!

  2. What a wonderful sounding yarn. I can’t wait to see the completed sweater. And yes, there must be some left over scraps, this is the perfect colour for Floradora to wear!

  3. Beautiful knitting, I loved the colours too, I mean all colours in the photographs, especially the first one, put me in there too 🙂 Thank you, Love, nia
