I have quite a few pins and needles which should be retired. How nice to have a celebration of their usefulness.

Vanilla was made in spring 2020 – remember back then? Plague times!!! She has been out and about a few times…
wonderful job getting Vanilla dressed in her kimono and obi and even a nagajuban (under kimono).
One of my Japanese friends sent me some very complete instructions which I try to follow – it isn’t easy as you know!
what a charming holiday. Vanilla has such a sweet expression and of course her kimono is perfection!
Vanilla is happy that the kimono fits her pretty well, she is very happy to help us celebrate all the textile projects that we’ve worked on this year, and the tools that helped up complete them!!
