The plants of Anna Inlet were varied and interesting. Tansy liked this wee Spruce tree, it will need to increase in age, girth and height to become be one of the dominant trees of the mature forest on Haida Gwaii.

Tansy and her photographer spent most of the time traveling from the North end of the West side of Haida Gwaii to the South. They traveled in a large vessel, and visited small coves and beaches on the way, by means of a smaller inflatable one. Tansy enjoyed exploring both vessels, and learned to find her way around the decks and gangways…
