Pi Day
The 14th day of the third month is our favourite mathematical holiday – a bevy of Quimper Hittys is celebrating this exciting and particularly special Pi day, (3-14-15 as would be written by people from the USA).
Lemon Chocolate double-berry pie – what a fabulous concoction! Tatty and Carline think they should each get a spoon and dig in….
…but common sense prevailed – one slice, washed down with cups of tea was plenty for all!

Very interesting because this is my birthday and I wish I could get some of that delicious pie.
Happy Birthday! I wish I could send you some pie!
I like pie but I’m more in favor of “pi”. Thanks for bringing this special day to my attention, little Quimper Hittys. You are always coming up with such interesting aspects of life here on planet Earth.
So many reasons to celebrate! Happy endless numbers of pi!
Those HIttys are not only entertaining they are also educational! Great lesson and fun photos. Now I must be off to the kitchen to make a ……..PI (E)
Yum! If I had been more organised I’d have made one with some of the QH girls!
yum, pie looks wonderful. hope the girls saved some for Min. love the tablecloth.
We did enjoy the pie! Min, alas was still in her kimono, and afraid of sticky spills…I wonder if there is a Japanese apron pattern that she could use for next time?
Happy Pi! 🙂
Thank you! Hope there was pi in your day too!
What fun! What a delectable pie!
It was, both fun and delicious!
