Tansy goes to Ottawa
Tansy has gone on a working jaunt to Ottawa with a friend…
They are staying in a delightful Hotel, and working across the river at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau Quebec.

As well as their work at the Museum, they have been walking around the city visiting some iconic monuments. This is the Centennial Flame fountain – erected as a temporary sculpture in 1967, but maintained since then due to very polite demands from the Canadian public.
Here is a view of the Canadian parliament buildings seen from the bridge over the Ottawa River…spring is coming!
…Tansy always enjoys tramping about, but was also grateful for a little rest in the lounge of the Chateau Laurier!

Tansy sure gets around! She looks a little lost in that couch. You would think a fancy hotel like that would have furniture the right size for their esteemed guests.
You would think! Perhaps she will write a letter and suggest it! Tansy has good friends and loves to travel with them, here and there.
What a wonderful travel opportunity for Tansy!
She was lucky to get invited! It is great she gets to visit the nation’s capital!
Tansy, terrific traveler.
Tansy tripper tells tremendous tales!
I love it when Tansy travels!
And, woohoo! I changed browsers, so I can click ‘like’ on your posts again! But, there should be a ‘love it’ button.
Awww, thanks! Tansy likes traveling too!
Goodness ..Tansy travels in style!! Love the pics of the hotel and the city. Hope she has a grand time and is very helpful.
Tansy certainly is enjoying herself, working hard and meeting new folks, but she is glad we live on the West coast of the country where snow is rare!
