Amelia in the trees again

Amelia seems to have a penchant for climbing around in the trees…on the way home through Beacon Hill Park she made her way up this slightly prickly Redwood tree.

Amelia loves trees as much as I do! The first photo of Amelia in the Redwood, shows the beautiful bluish color of the needles. So beautiful.

It is a beautiful tree, though more prickly than we expected!
I’m with Amelia. Evergreen trees are divine. I can almost smell the fragrance.
We often wish we could convey smells and sounds in this blog – the views are not quite all of the story!
Amelia is a delight! The only native evergreen we have growing on the farm is the western red cedar. Fun to see all the different trees that Amelia is climbing.
Western Red Cedar is abundant here – Amelia would feel right at home on your farm!
