Last day of February
The garden is full of business today…
.
.
…with fungus quietly turning wood into soil…
.
.
… and tiny buds swelling joyfully into Elderflowers…
.
.
…with mini-daffodils being as beautiful as possible…
.
.
…and the chickens officiously turning over the compost!
.

AH Spring. I can hardly wait for it to arrive.
Spring is coming…really it is!
Oh, those chickens are adorable! I haven’t lived with chickens since I was a child and I do miss them.
I had chickens when I was a child too Rhode Island Reds and Harkos…It is nice the neighbour’s chickens visit us!
what a wonderful stroll in the garden. Great photos and that yellow rain slicker and hood are so sweet.
It is amazing what there is to see when you look as closely as Aurelia! Her rain gear (including the adorable rain boots) was made by a Hitty friend, and all the Quimper Hittys have worn it in one rainstorm or another!
