End of December Garden
Guttersnipe and Mudlark walked out to the garden…
.
.
…to say hello to the plants! Greetings, new little Turkish Iris fronds…
.
.
….and hello, new Quaker Lady rhizomes, (split off from the plants in my friend’s garden!).
.
.
Welcome, Allium sprouts…
.
.
…and congratulations to this Allium which is is taller than Mudlark already. We planted lots of Allium (onion) flowers because the deer definitely won’t eat them.
.
.
The fuchsia bush has a few of last year’s leaves and a couple of late flowers…but hello, tiny buds of next year!
.
.
And special thanks to the Christmas tree, back outside after a short glorious sojourn indoors.
.
.
Guttersnipe and Mudlark sat on a rock until it started to rain…
.
.
…then they scooted back to the Cupboard!

so beautiful… I hope and wish to have a wonderful New Year dear friend, Thank you, peace and health, Love, nia
Dear nia, thanks for your good wishes – we wish you peace, love and health in 2021 also!
Lovely to see spring beginning to show, and so early. The Hittys seem to work some magic in your world…
It is always a treat to see the snouts of new green things emerging from the mud – In between torrents of rain! I do actually think you are right about the Hittys and their magic!
I was happy to see Mudlark and Guttersnipe again. Thank you, ladies, for bringing us good tidings of upcoming (winter) springish shoots. How exciting to see these in our frigid winter days here, where Spring is afar off.
We have a lot of wet, stormy weather to get through here too…not likely to have snow, but it does happen sometimes…before the blooms and green buds appear! Mudlark and Guttersnipe are happy to get out occasionally – they are a bit small and a bit top-heavy, so they love the garden where they can climb about with impunity.
Oh so very beautiful to see new life in your garden! We have been thrilled to have blossoms inside with our Christmas cactuses still in bloom, the Hibiscus gracing us with a huge showy blossom and another bud, and the Jade tree and shamrocks all being in bloom and promises of blossoms on the Kalenchloe. Flowers make the world so much better, don’t they? You certainly do! Thank you for all the beautiful moments of respite and delight! May this be a lovely New Year for you and may 2021 be full of joy! ❤
How marvellous to have such beautiful indoor plants…I hope they continue to be encouraging and in bloom as long as they may! And all good wishes for 2021 to you and your family (including dolls)!
Wishing the Quimper Hittys and most especially their humans a very Happy New Year. Thank you for a year of wonderful stories and delightful photography and your special kindness and good heart!!! Thank you.
You are so very welcome…we hope for better things to come in the new year, for all of us. Thanks to you and all my Hitty friends for your encouragement and your kindnesses.
