A Snowy Adventure
The chilly day yesterday was a harbinger of…many cm of SNOW!
.
.
Vanilla careened down the hill in the fresh snow – she thought it was thrilling…
.
.
…although Henrietta’s first trip down made her a little nervous.
.
.
Tipsy and Min went down together…
.
.
…they went so fast, the scenery went by in a blur!
.
.
Min rolled some big snow balls…
.
.
…and Arianell helped make them into a charming snow person!
.
.
The weary girls didn’t troop back to the cupboard until it started getting dark…
.
.
…they slept well that night!
.
.
Oh my, the adventures keep getting more and more beautiful, creative and sweet! I love the fun the colorfulness of this chilling narrative.
It was a very chilling day if you were standing still! Fortunately the Hittys entertained themselves by sliding down the windshield on the Fit while I shovelled the driveway, and we none of us cooled down at all!
A very sweet snowy adventure! Thanks so much for sharing!
It was fun to see the Hittys entertaining themselves and having such a good time!
Great snow frolic! The girls know how to make the best of any situation…and they share the smiles! So wonderful to be included in all the fun and games! Love and hope go your way! ❤️ Before we know it, this snow will melt and make way for Spring blooms!
We are always a bit surprised if it snows…Victoria is more famous for soggy winters and early springs, not snow and ice! I think the flowers are still down there under the snowy blanket, and meanwhile the Quimper Hittys had such fun it was totally delightful to watch them!
Quimper land looks like it does here in Eastern U.S. Sledding is a cherished winter sport here also. The Hitty sized snowman was adorable. We have snow piled up so high now we wonder if it will be here till spring.
Your Hitty’s looked precious in their winter coats sliding down the hill.
Brrrr! I know our snow piles will only last for another day or two…I hope your weather moderates soon! The beautiful coats were made by a very talented and generous Hitty friend, except for Min’s which I made…they all love to wear them and are happy when it snows!
Nothing like a day playing hard in the snow to make you ready for bed. Did they get mugs of hot chocolate and ginger snaps to warm them up?
I think Jane had a big jug of Hot Chocolate ready, though I am not certain about the ginger snaps. I would ask the girls but they are all snoring gently in their beds…
What a magical and delightful time the girls had in the snow! Delightful!
We get so little snow of a season, it is always a mad delight for the kids…totally delightful!
the snow is deep here in Mo but the cold is so extreme that there are no outings planned! I enjoyed seeing your girls playing outside and having such fun. Also love that pretty blanket they are snuggled beneath.
I hope you noticed the girls luxuriating in their beautiful winter coats. They adore them – they are their favourite winter wraps, and don’t get to wear them very often because it rarely snows here!
They are so lovely and beautiful. Love, Thank you, love, nia
You are welcome Nia…we had snow too for a few days. It is unusual for us…the Hittys loved it
