Tea without milk
Perdita had an evening tea party because it was too hot during the day…
.
.
…she invited two of her friends. Anthea was the first one to arrive.
.
.
The Queen of Scotland brought her surprising pet!
.
.
Perdita put it into a bucket of water with a pinch of salt so it would feel at home!
.
.
Then they all sat down to tea, but the milk had disappeared….
.
.
…do you see who stole the milk???
.
.
Perdita quickly sliced up a lemon instead…
.
.
…it was very tasty…
.
.
…everyone agreed!!
.
.
Love it when youngest member comes to play.
We love it too! She makes every tea party a joy and delight!
Lovely and cooling despite the heat. So cool that the Queen of Scotland arrived…and…with a pet!
The Queen of Scotland’s pet was unique isn’t it! She has unusual taste, or perhaps interesting friends…or both! The british swear that drinking hot tea makes you feel cooler!
the tea I have been drinking has been iced!! Love the tea party..the lemon slices and those sneaky milk stealing cats! Sweet times on a very hot day! Take care with those unprecedented temps!!
The Queen of Scotland’s pet had a great time just paddling around in its pail, while the milk-moustachioed miscreants enjoyed their ill-gotten gains. Perdita was glad of the lemons, and everyone agreed it was a restorative and delicious tea (especially that little sugar slurry at the bottom of the teacups)!
Ohhh, that does look like a tasty little tea party. Did I see petitfores (sp). I love little cakes. All my dollies are staying inside out of the heat and rain, too.
