The package was placed in the bucket, and then the engineer started the ball rolling.

…which sent the bucket flying down…

Making the machine was very entertaining, and the Hittys were extremely glad to be the beneficiaries of such fun! It all started with clothespin arches…and ended up with mail-order turtles!
I didn’t even know there was a Queen of Scotland, much less how she got her sea turtle! Lovely plaids, too.
Aurelia has claimed this outfit – made by one of my kind and talented Hitty friends. I didn’t find out that she was the Queen of Scotland until young human came to visit (though it ought to have been obvious from her plaids, jewels, and demeanour)!
And now we know…thank you youngest human of the QH human family. I am so happy to know about this detail and especially how the mail got to the regal Queen of Scotland. It is an extraordinarily creative way to receive mail.
First we built the extraordinary machine, then the story arrived! I love it when young human visits, creativity flows!

It was a lot of fun – young human is a little engineer, fascinated by concepts like weight, momentum, balance and speed – she will fast outstrip my ability to explain them I think, but we can also just have fun like we did here! She LOVES the Scottish Queen outfit!
