Abigail and Amanda

Painted

Abigail has found herself painted and strung together with hair elastics…

.

.

clothed

…and clothed from the Hitty closet.

.

.

basket

…and a couple of hours after she became a “real doll” our favourite youngest human arrived for a visit.

.

.

Abigail and Amanda

Young Human had brought Amanda with her to rifle through the Hitty closet too…(Amanda is a small Artist’s mannequin but she needed a dress).

.

.

Chamomile

Amanda and Abigail rolled with delight in the lovely-smelling Chamomile.

.

.

Beach combing

But really they were on the way to the beach…

.

.

Clam shell

…where Abigail found a piece of clam shell…

.

.

Chiton Book

…and Amanda read a Chiton Book.

.

.

rocks

Then they moved rocks around…

.

.

Heavy

…until they made a pattern…

.

.

Big Heart

…of love!

.

.

Little Heart

They found a little heart!

.

.

Rock

Then they were so tired that they lay down for a nap – rock-a-bye-baby…

.

.

snooze

…the rocks weren’t very comfortable so they curled back up in the basket with the chamomile, and had a little snooze.

.

.

Sea glass

And then collected sea glass for a while.

.

.

Rock bath for Abigail

Abigail had a lovely rock bath…

.

.

Rock bath for Amanda

…and then it was Amanda’s turn.

.

.

Homeward

Finally they went home…

.

.

Tea time

…and drank Chamomile tea.

  1. No matter what the circumstances, a young human and dolls and a grandmother can have endless and unique adventures. Thanks once again for sharing that particularly sweet jaunt.

  2. so nice that Abigail has already made friends and enjoyed a fun day at the beach. Love her Mary Jane’s and red hair. Her wood grain “heart” is special, another beautiful storm doll.

    • We were so happy to welcome Abigail to the Hitty cupboard. The drilling disaster last year affected the hip joints, but I kept them – I just couldn’t dispose of the legs and the little cute feet!

  3. sweet, the imagination that gives these little dears life!! thank you and thanks to the youngest Quimper Human!
