Marvellous Monday
Today is “Blue Monday” – supposedly the most depressing day of the year, but for us it is misnamed…
.
.
…because the sun is out for the second day in a row!
.
.
The little spring bulbs are emerging…
.
.
…the Hellebore is flowering…
.
.
…and the blue Corydalis is the only thing blue around here apart from the sky!
.
.
Horrid big things that you can’t do anything about are forgotten for a few moments on this Marvellous Monday!

Oh my goodness! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! We needed an infusion of flowers! ❤
You are very welcome! We are so lucky, and are so happy to see the flowers outside – they uplift our spirits.
Thank you for bringing forth your Spring-y flowers and sunshine….we barely got above 0 degrees F today and winds were wicked. Your narrative brought warmth and a smile as well as the hope that the way things are now will not always be so.
We hope! Our flowers are so sweet and the daylight is very encouraging!
Ah, yes, dear Hitty Lady! You expressed well! Beautiful photographs, and wonderful flowers coming up, I loved them so much. Thank you, have a nice day, Love, nia
Thank you nia, we are so glad to have some brighter weather at last!
Yaaaaaay! Spring!
Yes! It’s coming!!
everything looks a little brighter when the sun is shining.
Everything really does look brighter! It’s such a relief!
you have flowers blooming???!!! how wonderful. The girls look quite comfy in their lovely sweaters.
We do! And it is marvellous after so many grey oppressive days! And warm sweaters are comfy and cosy and just right these chilly days!
