Apple Pip in October
October is Apple Harvest time. Pip admires the blush of the apples, and checks them out for size.
Our King apples are large and juicy, with a crisp texture, and a natural waxy coating. They vary in size but can grow enormous.

They really are gigantic!

Some of the great things about lots of gigantic apples: lots of lovely applesauce…

…and lots of lovely Apple Juice…

…and lots of lovely apple chips…

…and lots of lovely apple tart…

…and lots of lovely apple crumble.

Be careful, Pip! We wouldn’t want you to drop into any of the tasty looking delectables! Thanks for bringing us news of the fruit of the harvest!
We have had fun in the apple tree this year…pretty soon it will be windy and wet – we’ll have to see whether Pip wants to explore in the winter!
I took the journey of Pip’s adventures in Apple Land and was entranced! I especially love the photo of her with her glass of juice. She is a sweetie!
The juice is sweet too! I am glad you explored the other pictures – it has been fun to keep this record of this year in the tree!
What delicious apples. I love apple pie – I don’t remember seeing such big apples – They say – An apple a day keeps the doctor away and I do believe that is so true. Apples are very nutritious. Pip is cute too. !!
They are good! Nice and crisp. They are so big though, about half an apple a day is usually enough!
Those apples make Pip look very very small. Pip better not linger under the tree if any of these are falling. And what a lot of yummy food!!
Pip is very small! We are having the first autumn storm today, Pip has taken shelter from rain and falling apples.
Fabulous post! We’ll be there at 7:00 to enjoy some of the Apple Crumble you mention here!! 🙂
Dear Toad, Pip and the Hittys waited in vain…
