The result so far is a lumpy hind leg. If all goes well it will turn into a calico cat, provided the human is not overcome by short rows first!

I am betting he might be destined to be the friend of a little someone special. Rose is just the perfect advisor for this project!! Looking forward to future pics of the project.
The one-year old already has a grey “meowie” knitted by her mother, who encouraged me to make one. If mine turns out it will go to the 81-year old, who had to leave his two real ones behind when he recently moved 😦
